**Responsibilities**:
- Legal Counsel: Provide expert legal advice and guidance on immigration matters to internal stakeholders, including management, development teams, and customer support.
- Compliance Oversight: Stay abreast of changes in immigration laws, regulations, and policies to ensure company compliance and update internal processes accordingly.
- Client Support: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates on case status, and offering legal advice and assistance as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, product development, and customer support, to enhance and optimize our immigration solutions.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and provide educational materials to internal teams to enhance understanding of immigration laws, procedures, and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of our immigration solutions.
**Requirements**:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or J.D.) from an accredited institution. Admission to the Bar in Canada is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing immigration law. Experience with technology-driven legal solutions is a plus.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge and understanding of Canadian immigration laws, regulations, and procedures. Experience with various immigration categories, such as skilled workers, family sponsorship, and temporary visas.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review, analyze, and interpret legal documents and regulations.
- Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using technology and willing to learn and adapt to new software tools and platforms.
