Construction Surveyor

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs survey of the site prior to commencing work.
- Check all control points, benchmarks, gridlines, survey marks, elevations, and stakeout points, and monitor structural components as the building progresses.
- Reviews and updates all drawings that relate to the survey to ensure that all dimensions between corresponding drawings agree.
- Calculates the layout of all project components using the drawings, specifications and submissions provided.
- Provides topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
- Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate field records.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent and Supervisors.
- Perform all other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years’ experience in construction surveying.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, AutoCAD, and BIM.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work extended hours as required.
- Language: Ability to speak/read/write Mandarin a strong asset.
