Install, configure, and support an organizations local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet system or a segment of a network system.
- Responsible for monitoring network to ensure network availability to all system users.

**Education/Experience.**
- Associate degree in computer related field required.
- Bachelor degree in computer science preferred.
- 2 to 4 years experience required.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software as it related to LAN/WAN. Major Job

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
- Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Data center: 7 years (preferred)
- Network Server: 5 years (preferred)
- Network Cable: 5 years (preferred)
- Tracing Optic Cable: 5 years (preferred)
- Optic Cable: 4 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
