DBS Excavation Ltd is a family-owned excavation and snow removal business. We are seeking a self -motivated and reliable person to join our team as a Backhoe Operator.

**Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**:

- Over 5 years of experience operating a Backhoe
- Has experience in backfilling, **compacting, loading trucks, digging trenches**, etc.
- Ability to operate in a safe manner within tight working environment
- Safety oriented
- Dependable & reliable
- Ability to work as a team member
- Willing to learn
- Effective communication skills

**Requirements**:

- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation to work in various cities within the lower mainland
- Ability to work nights and weekends if necessary
- Willing to work in all weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain/snow)

**Job Type**:
Casual on-Call backhoe operator to start with the potential for full time. As well as consistent seasonal work doing de-ice management and snow removal in the winter.

Pay: Competitive hourly wage $40-$50/hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
