**Job Title**: Dispatcher / Installation Coordinator

**Report To**: General Manager

**Department(s)**: Service and Installation

**Basic Function**:
The basic function of the Dispatcher / Installation Coordinator is too profitably organize work for clients and technicians.

**Essential Duties**:

- Create and set up work orders using Jonas’s construction software.
- Create daily work schedule for technicians and dispatch, Follow progress, and close calls in the computer.
- Order materials for upcoming work as well as time and material jobs underway upon request by field techs.
- Arrange for ESA permits and inspections.
- Schedule with local utility contractors.
- Debrief technicians before and after jobs.
- Review incoming work orders. o Confirm pics of packing slips/ receipts are attached. o Confirm pics of work are attached. o Confirm spare fields are completed. o Confirm any work needed to be quoted includes description of work, material list and labour required. o Note whether recommendations were made or follow ups required.
- Provide support to field techs from office when needed.
- Back up admin clerk answering phones.
- Create Customer service Items in Jonas and schedule proactive maintenance agreement visits
- Arrange utility underground locates.
- Arrange rental equipment.
- Customers follow up as needed.
- Train, manage and support technicians.
- Monitor field techs for timelines.
- Handled client issues as they arise.
- Technical support to clients.
- Monitor technician usage of company vehicles and arrange for repairs and maintenance.
- Responsible for filling and monitoring warranty claims.
- Produce quotes or assist with quote for various projects.
- Mark problem and good work orders to let techs knows how they are doing.
- Create systems to improve efficiency of service dep.
- Speak to clients and others that reception cannot assist.
- Track employee work hours, sick day, vacation, and time off for field staff.
- Recommend staffing actions to general Manager.
- Ensure adherence to company health and safety policy and standards.
- Help with recruiting process by posting jobs ads and screening resumes.
- Follow up with clients for review online, testimonials, etc.
- Develop, implement, and update policy, process, and procedure documentation for coordinator position.
- Assist with the development and implementation of various marketing initiatives.
- Other task as requested by the General Manager

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Technical school diploma.
- Previous experience in this field in this capacity.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Work well under pressure.
- Ability to lead.
- Must have a valid drivers’ license with an immaculate driving record.
- Ability to handle difficult clients/ technician issues.
- Adaptability
- the individual adapts to change in the work environment and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Good communicator
- works well with different personality styles.

**Salary**: From $44,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
