**Course description and learning outcomes**:
By the end of this course, the students will be able to:

- Identify and produce a binding and enforceable contract;
- Determine the most suitable form of business ownership for a new or existing enterprise;
- Develop legally acceptable employment conditions in the workplace.

**Qualifications and assets**:

- Law degree (BCL, LL.B, JD, LL.M), or equivalent
- Five years of professional experience within a corporate law environment or a currently
- active or recently
- active corporate law practice, or equivalent
- Three years of relevant teaching experience, or equivalent
- Experience in the competency-based approach to teaching and learning
- Note: this is a coordinated course. The course coordinator will be selecting the pedagogical materials to be used.
