This position will play a key business partnership role in Store Operations. It will provide key decision support and be a catalyst for performance improvement by implementing key performance measurement reporting and support the “Rest to Best” initiatives. It will also provide accurate and timely financial analysis information across all business units. Leader of the budgeting process and rolling forecast, responsible for budgeting, planning, forecasting, analysis and financial performance of all business units. A key player in the development and analysis of the business and strategic plan and is greatly involved in several ad hoc requests from senior management. Responsible for the company's various financial analyses in order to maximize the profitability of all operations and acts as a resource person to answer questions relating to the budget and forecasts. Leads a team of analysts.

Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates the budget process across all operation business units (Sales, Distribution, Retail) to ensure deadlines are met. Ensures that the different business units are well supported in the budgeting process by providing clear explanations, templates and processes to ensure the accuracy of the information received.
- Plays a leadership role in the performance management in Store Operations and supports the “Rest to Best” initiatives. Holds their team and the Store Operations team accountable for delivering on performance improvement initiatives
- Administers the monthly report preparation cycle for the various business units and coordinates monthly meetings with directors and senior management to review financial results to fully understand business events and market trends
- Actively participates in the month-end process in collaboration with the accounting team. It provides quick analysis of results and deviations and communicates the necessary runs and adjustments
- Develops and continuously leads initiatives to improve and automate the Rolling Forecasting tools and processes, in addition to financial modeling and strategic planning.
- Identify risks and opportunities and demonstrate potential improvements through value-added analysis
- Prepare and develop KPIs and dashboards, assist management and finance teams by providing them with the forecasts, budgets and other analysis needed
- Support in evaluating M&A transactions and other business opportunities
- Reviews capital allocation requests and makes recommendations to management on proposed projects.
- Supervise the FP&A team in order to change and revise the financial forecasts following monthly analyses and meetings with the various business partners.
- Manage and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, mentorship and training to support their professional development and career progression
- Create strong relationships with the various business units and with senior management.

Professional qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance.
- MBA or accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
- More than 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in personnel management and business acumen developed
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of financial principles (NPV, IRR, ROI, Discounted Cash Flow)
- Autonomous, dynamic and responsible, capable of convincing, influencing
- Leadership, attention to detail and customer focus.
- Excellent analytical skills, creativity and initiative
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingualism (English and French) required
- Excellent command and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of the office suite, TM1, AS 400.
