Calgary, Canada TEKTELIC Communications Inc. Full time

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Hand soldering of fine-pitch surface mount and thru-hole components, potentially using a microscope
- Soldering of cable assemblies
- Electro-mechanical assembly of system level products

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Minimum 3 years current experience in fine pitch SMT and thru-hole soldering
- Certification on IPC workmanship standards
- Proficiency in advanced rework using a soldering iron, hot-air machines and microscope
- Understanding of electronic component types and packaging (i.e. BGA, SOICS, RES/CAP packages etc.)
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation such as BOMs, assembly drawings, engineering changes orders, quality process documents, and simple schematics
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace
- Fluent in English: ability to read, write and speak English well
- Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (one-person lift)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
