**SUMMARY**
**As a Technician, Cultivation (Co-op) you will...**
- Follow laboratory and cultivation protocols, keep accurate records of the work performed and prepare reports with the data generated.
- Perform plant phenotyping protocols, including measuring yield, height, image collection and analysis, etc.
- Support genotyping activities including extraction DNA and RNA from plant tissues, and quality control on isolated nucleic acids;
- Prepare materials, media, buffers, and solutions;
- Assist with plant care and cultivation as needed; (cloning, seeding, transplanting, planting, pruning and harvesting)
- Assist the Operations team and maintenance tasks as needed
- Comply with company safety, regulatory and security standards
**It would be great if you have...**
- Experience with plants and plant management, particularly in a greenhouse or nursery
- Technical training or experience with greenhouse management, horticulture or related tasks is an asset
- Basic knowledge of the life cycle of cannabis
- Ability to work in environments with cannabis pollen and plant debris
- Ability to work hard and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Able to comfortably lift 22 kilograms
- Ability to undertake repetitive work
