**Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday**

**Employment type: Temporary position operating onsite at our Comox BC Facility for a duration of one month. The opportunity to extend the position may be available depending on business needs.

**Job summary**
We’re searching for a dynamic professional to plant their roots with us as a **Cultivation Technician. **In this role, you will report into our Facility Manager and beresponsible for carrying out daily cultivation duties at our cutting-edge cannabis breeding Facility, located in Comox BC. You will be a core member of our Science and Innovation Team and help support our breeding and genetics research dedicated to opening the world to cannabis. Sound interesting? Here is a little more

**As the Cultivation Technician you will**
- Assist in flower trimming activities
- Clean and sterilize cultivation rooms and equipment
- Shred and compost plant waste and grow media
- Support the Operations team with maintenance tasks and comply with company safety, regulatory standards and SOPs
- Contribute to overall facility organization and tidiness
- You have a high school certificate or one year of relevant work experience in a greenhouse, horticulture or agriculture environment**_ (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)_**:

- You are comfortable working with pollen and plant debris in a cannabis facility custom to fluctuating temperatures and repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms
- You have excellent organizational skills with the ability to keep detailed records and meet critical timelines
- You are a natural team player and enjoy collaborating with others to achieve goals and improve processes

**Important things to know **
- This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an individual that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure
- Temperatures range from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius, and 50 to 85% humidity in the Facility
