We are seeking a full time **Logistics Manager** to join our Head Office in **Winnipeg**. The Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and coordinating supply chain strategy for the company that focuses on optimization of freight costs while maintaining delivery schedules from vendors to branches. Monitors transportation costs, service level agreements, and performance metrics to identify and resolve problems and achieve efficiencies. Operates across multiple functions and interfaces with internal customers and external vendors to meet goals. Coordinates purchase, compliance and distribution of new vehicles for use in the service and install departments.

**Duties**
- Develop and maintain logistics strategy along with each of our branches
- Optimize daily, weekly loads to be cost effective but maintain production schedules
- Coordinate with branches to prioritize shipments to meet customer needs
- Develop relationships with shipping departments at material vendors as well as logistics companies to facilitate a well-coordinated logistics plan
- Coordinate with external vendors and other operations personnel in order to manage partners.
- In conjunction with Operations and Finance coordinate purchase, replacement and maintenance of fleet vehicles
- Build and maintain service and safety records of fleet vehicles
- Plan and implement effective processes to ensure that deliverables adhere to our standards.
- Coordinates with our logistics brokerage firm, shipments coming from foreign vendors when required
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience Required**:

- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager
- College diploma or degree in related field or equivalent work-related experience
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook)

**Work Conditions**:

- Office environment, with visit to shop floor on occasion.
- Sitting for extended periods of time
