You may build and repair wooden structures and use various tools such as hammers, power saws, tape measures, drills, etc. depending on the needs of our Building Envelope project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work.
- Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style.
- Calculating the number of fasteners required for each job.
- Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects, and building code recommendations.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other construction professionals.
- Other duties assigned.

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter or equivalent.
- Must have rainscreen installation experience.
- A certificate in the relevant area is preferred.
- Experience in using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws, and nail guns.
- Commitment to the job site safety and project quality.
- Understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and Safety Guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and execution skills.
- Experience using construction machinery is an asset.
