**Location**: On Work Sites (Greater Toronto Area)

**Position Summary**:
CMI Solar, a leading provider of solar energy solutions in Ontario, is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Foreman to join our team.

As the Site Foreman, you will coordinate construction efforts, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time. Your primary focus will be enforcing health and safety guidelines and adhering to company policies as well as company quality assurance standards. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Valid Drivers License
- Clean drivers abstract
- Working at heights certification (valid)
- Able to work flexible schedule, including early mornings
- Able to lift 50lbs

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Supervise solar installation teams and construction sites
- Review specifications and drawings with installation teams
- Ensure timelines and quality standards are met
- Monitor project progress and communicate deadlines
- Manage project expenses and support budgets
- Coordinate material deliveries and inspect tools and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers to address concerns
- Enforce health and safety protocols and conduct safety audits
- Conduct safety orientation for installation teams
- Report site nonconformities and conduct incident investigations
- Assist with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) as required
- Maintain health and safety equipment on site; and
- Other responsibilities as required

**Qualifications**

**Experience**:

- _Solar energy experiences an asset_
- 3-5 years’ Experience in construction management with strong working knowledge of construction process, best practices etc.
- 3 years’ Experience working with subcontractors and ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively, safely, and professionally with a high level of quality.

**Education and Certifications**:

- College Diploma in related construction field
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driver’s abstract

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Able to work outdoors and in changing temperatures, environments, job sites, etc.
- High degree of knowledge working/complying with OHSA and related health and safety legislation
- Reliable and Punctual
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written
- Critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills to analyze and interpret information
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, external partners, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Multi-tasking, time management, planning and organizing
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
