- The Membership Support Specialist is as a key contact between the organization and its physician members, with responsibilities including but not limited to: handling inquiries, processing membership documents, maintaining and updating membership records, and assisting with member communication activities. They are also responsible for collecting data, tracking membership statistics, preparing reports, coordinating with the accounting department to track membership payments and supporting events for members. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, be highly organized with passion for details and accuracy across multiple enterprise systems and possess a talent for building strong relationships between members and the organization.

**What Does the Role Do?**

Membership Process Support- Facilitates the integration of physicians into the Patient’s Medical Home (PMH) and Engagement initiatives, overseeing the entirety of the membership process including enrollment, financial transactions, communications, and event coordination.-
- Develops and manages a comprehensive suite of documentation and systems for physician memberships, encompassing data-sharing agreements, and master service agreements.-
- Ensures the integrity, confidentiality and precision of physician member records by managing both digital and physical data storage solutions, such as internal PCN databases and the Alberta Find a Doctor service.-
- Executes regular and ad-hoc database queries and generates reports, fulfilling requests from SCPCN Management or their teams.-
- Support the review and verification of membership information received from Alberta Health.Payment Processing- Collaborates with the finance team to streamline the payment process for physician members, including the authorization of signatories and addressing any related inquiries.-
- Conducts thorough quality checks on physician payment procedures, monitoring data across various teams and systems to prevent and rectify discrepancies or omissions.-
- Compile and review the required documentation for all funding supports to member physicians and Medical Homes.-
- Maintain tracking system for Medical Home staff, physicians and clinic data used to keep track of funding details.Program Support- Facilitates the management of contracts for member physicians.-
- Support organizational tasks related to the physician involved programs.-
- Executes a range of administrative tasks with superior interpersonal and organizational abilities, including but not limited to: the creation and distribution of minutes, correspondence, and documents, as well as managing communications and data analysis.-
- Assists the Physician Engagement (Practice Facilitator) team with the coordination of program requirements.-
- Drafts, revises, and structures various documents, reports, and communications, adhering to organizational standards and collaborating with SCPCN management on the creation of monitoring templates.-
- Organizes support for meetings, which encompasses scheduling, minute documentation, and preparing materials for both physical and virtual gatherings.-
