- **Receptionist**_

The Caroline Family Health Team (C-FHT) is seeking a Receptionist to join our progressive team serving the residents of Halton on a part-time (3 days per week; 8:30am - 5:00pm per day) basis (24-month contract)**.**

**Responsibilities**:

- respond to telephone and in person inquiries from patients, visitors and other parties
- refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals or teams across the organization
- take and record telephone or written messages for staff members where appropriate
- electronically tag reports/test results; organize, maintain and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations
- where necessary, assist in the compilation of data for various reports
- as a front line worker, present a positive and professional image of the organization to all patients, visitors, suppliers and other interactions
- manage inbound-outbound mail, including packages, courier services, and other correspondence
- maintain the reception area in a tidy and presentable manner
- accept and monitor inbound shipments as necessary

**Requirements and Specifications**
- 2 - 3 years’ experience providing Reception support in a medical office is required;
- Graduate Office Administration - Medical diploma (preferred);
- 2-3 years of Telus PS experience preferred;
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team;
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
- Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook;
- Knowledge and skill in electronic medical records an asset

C-FHT is a Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) member. As a part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to join HOOPP on your first day of employment.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
