**About the role**:
You will lead our technical teams, both Software Engineering and SRE. As our Tech Lead you will push our organization to achieve new levels of maturity in Software Engineering. This role will get a chance to sculpt how a modern software company operates and delivers value to our customers.

This is a hands on role, you should be ready to get dirty with C#, SQL, infrastructure, Windows Servers, as well as play a key role in establishing policies and procedures to hit aggressive engineering milestones. You will be a pivotal member of RyCor leadership, and have an opportunity to directly influence company success.

A Tech Lead at RyCor will put on a variety of technical hats. You will guide our software teams, you will help organize business requirements into technical requirements. You will help prioritize technical work to meet aggressive business timelines. You will fight back when appropriate, to advocate for your team and your technology.

**Who you are**:

- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles
- You enjoy software engineering, and solving technical problems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role, preferably as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar
- Strong expertise in the C# tech stack, including.NET Core, and MS SQL
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience in managing and leading teams of engineers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for technology and a desire to stay updated with emerging trends.

**Bonus points**:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Software or K-12 education industry knowledge
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation
- Previous experience in a high-growth or startup environment
