We are currently seeking an **HR Representative** for an immediate opening in **Winnipeg (Centreport) **and offer:

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the HR operations.
- Provide support to Human Resources Manager.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities.
- Conduct initial orientation to new/rehired employees.
- Post job ads where required.
- Assist Supervisors with all aspects of HR.
- Participate in workforce planning.
- Act as a point of contact for employees on all HR related matters including the understanding of HR policies
- Educate new and rehired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
- Assist senior employees with tasks as required.
- Maintain a proper paper and electronic filing system.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years experience in an HR role
- Strong communication skills in English (required) and French (an asset)
- Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Keen attention to detail
- Understanding of human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Experience with social media
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear demonstration of strong judgment, coaching, influencing, and problem-solving
- Self-driven, autonomous, and a team player
- Ability to assess needs, understand core issues, and achieve results proactively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
- Ability to multitask
