The Laundry Washer is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel and other affiliated departments such as the fitness and spa department.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Loading the washing machine with the proper amount of linen.
- Sorting the towels from the bed linen before washing.
- Ensuring that the washing machines are running properly.
- Sorting stained linen from the other so that it can be washed.
- Ensure that the chemicals used are intact.
- Ensure that the cutlery that may be sent down in food and beverage line is taken out before washing.
- Ensure that no water or soap is around the machines to cause a slip or fall.
- Abide by all Health and Safety policies and procedures as set out by Management.
- Take out of dryers all towels, pillow slips, napkins, tablecloths, blankets, etc.
- Put all uniforms on hangers.
- Clean dryers seven days a week, twice a day.
- Bring chemicals from the loading dock.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area.
