**GRADE RANGE**: Grade 6 + $0.60 Lead Premium

**Position Summary**
- Shipper
- Dock Foremen

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to)**:
**Shipper**
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of shipping documents prior to and after loading orders.
- Ensure trailers are suitable for loading.
- Communicate with the shunt truck driver to organize the trailers and docks.
- Organize loads to meet schedule. Assist the Shipping Foreman with load priorities.
- Work with TMS, WMS and SAP systems
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Be the communication point with carriers.
- Communicate problems to Shipping Supervisor.

**Shipping Foreman**
- Manage safe and efficient loading of transport trucks.
- Be able to utilize WMS to include daily productivity and inventory counts.
- Ensures productive and motivational climate.
- Proactively fostering and promoting the safe work habits of employees. Must demonstrate ability to lead a shift, people management and organizational skills during probationary period.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, relevant experience will also be considered.
- ** Must have lift truck driving experience.**:

- Must have good computer skills and proficient in MS office suite. Experience in SAP, WMS and TMS will be considered an asset.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate leadership skills and be willing to progress in a leadership role.
- Must be highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast pace environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
- Team player with excellent attendance.
