Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven HVAC Sheet Metal Shop Lead Hand to lead our fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC sheet metal work, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily operations in the HVAC sheet metal fabrication shop.

- Lead a team of skilled fabricators, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure top performance.

- Ensure all HVAC projects are completed safely, on time, and to specifications.

- Create custom fittings based on customer orders, program designs using CAMDuct, and oversee production and assembly.

- Manage workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets.

- Perform regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain optimal performance and safety.

- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary materials and supplies.

- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and quality standards.


Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, ductwork fabrication, installation techniques, and CNC machinery.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across departments.

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an HVAC sheet metal environment.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in HVAC 308A.
