**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in hiring and managing the team of planning and development-related consultants specific to each project;
- Coordinate project-specific community engagement strategies and negotiations with municipal planning staff, councillors, and community stakeholders;
- Coordinate the execution of all municipal requirements (agreements, etc.) during and after the entitlement process;
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure that all municipal requirements continue to be complied with during construction;
- Assist in creating and presenting reports to the partners, team members, investors and advisors;
- Provide planning and development-related research and information to support the executive team in underwriting all prospective acquisitions; and
- Proudly represent and contribute to Altree’s brand through active participation and leadership in programs and organizations in and out of the development industry.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A Master’s degree with a focus in planning (RPP eligibility is an asset)
- 1 year of relevant industry experience
- An understanding of land use planning policy documents and municipal approvals process, preferably in Toronto - Ability to represent Altree professionally with owners, consultants, and professional associations - Strong technical writing, communication skills
- Ability to take direction and execute responsibilities competently
- Demonstrated ability to respond to multiple, conflicting and shifting priorities and deadlines - Capable of being a team player, working as a member of various multidisciplinary teams
- Type G Driver’s license with access to a vehicle

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

- North York, ON M6B 3A7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Real Estate Development: 1 year (required)
