**Job Description Summary**:
STEMCELL, Canada’s largest biotech company, is looking for a new Continuous Improvement Manager to join our growing team

As a Continuous Improvement Manager you will help establish and support continuous improvement of our corporate planning procedures, including facility project portfolio planning and capital expenditure (CapEx) approvals.

This is an exciting opportunity to identify and facilitate innovative solutions that will drive a positive and far-reaching effect on the business as a whole.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Facilitate process design and documentation efforts with Process Owners
- Support ongoing monitoring and identification of improvement opportunities
- Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system
- Elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis
- Lead and support improvement initiatives from identification and design through implementation and control

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience supporting and driving transformational projects in a business analysis, project management or continuous improvement manager role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and project skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Financial (CAPEX) experience or Lean, Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certifications are considered assets
