**JOB TITLE : TMS Technician, Community Mental Health Clinic (TMS Life)**

**Location**: Suite 300, 250 City Centre, Ottawa, ON

**Job Type**: Full-time, in-person (no remote work available)

**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct transcranial magnetic stimulation treatments according to established protocols.
- Ensure accurate placement of the TMS coil for targeted brain stimulation.
- Conduct Motor Threshold procedures.
- Monitor patients during TMS sessions to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Build rapport with clients and check-in daily regarding mood and functioning.
- Document treatment sessions and report any adverse effects or unusual responses.
- Work closely with psychiatrist, registered nurse, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High School Graduate (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Bilingual (En/Fr) (required)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, appropriate boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- First Aid and CPR/AED Certification (Must be obtained prior to starting work).
