**Job Details**:

- **museum**_**pros **Storage Department is looking to hire an enthusiastic, self-sufficient, and reliable individual with collections handling experience to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Conservation, Collections Care and Storage Management, the Art Storage Technician will work to provide the highest quality of art storage and inventorying services to museumpros’ diverse clientele.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain detailed records of the movement of stored art objects for inventory and invoicing purposes.
- Prepare and track daily work orders to be completed by warehouse staff.
- Coordinate and assist art handlers in the staging and movement of artworks entering, exiting, or being accessed in a storage warehouse.
- Plan and carry out collection inventories and art catalogues for clients, including digitization services.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks for shipments and field jobs, when necessary. - Help keep warehouse consistently clean, useable, and client ready.
- Prioritize the safety of personnel and artworks, always adhering to company operational guidelines.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Work experience and/or education in the fine art industry.
- Skilled in DSLR photography and photo editing software.
- Experience in digitizing archival records.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Experience using databases in a gallery/museum setting is an asset.
- Demonstrated history of teamwork.
- Ability to lift objects of 50 lbs.
- Valid G Drivers License.

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
