**Job Details**:

- **museum**_**pros **Storage Department is looking to hire an enthusiastic, self-sufficient, and reliable individual with warehouse experience to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Conservation, Collections Care and Storage Management, the Art Warehouse Technician will work to provide the highest quality of art storage and inventorying services to museumpros’ diverse clientele.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely moving and handling of artworks in & out of warehouse, maximizing spatial utilization
- Loading and unloading artworks on vehicles for shipments and field jobs.
- Staging outgoing artworks and anticipating incoming shipments by designating spaces in advance.
- Fulfill daily work orders, including museum quality packaging and handling of artworks.
- Assists the Collections Manager with measuring, inventory, inspections of incoming artworks.
- Prioritizes the safety of personnel and artworks, always adhering to company operational guidelines.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly warehouse housekeeping and inspection tasks
- Assists in upkeep of warehouse equipment and systems including forklift and HVAC.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a warehouse storage environment
- Work experience and/or education in the fine art industry is an asset
- Ability to lift 50lb objects.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated history of teamwork in a fast-paced work environment
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
- Forklift Certification is an asset
- Strong Computer skills including use of Microsoft Office

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
