**Position Summary**:
This position is responsible to assist with communication activities and to support results reporting to TC’s funders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with an interest in communications and/or international development to gain practical experience with a leading Canadian NGO.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Communications and Events**
- Assist in coordinating and marketing TC events, and other public activities
- Maintain TC WhatsApp Community including the contact data base
- Draft and schedule WhatsApp messages
- Monitor WhatsApp performance and identify ways to increase engagement

**Results Reporting**
- Coordinate and administer post participant program surveys
- Summarize, collate and analyze survey results for reports to funders
- Draft reports and presentations for funders
- Support program evaluation activities
- Research information for various reports, projects and tasks
- Research, collect and compile information for reporting including baseline data, perform data entry, data storage and organization, suggest and implement improvements to the management of reporting data processes and procedures.

**Other**
- Assist in coordinating board meetings
- Drafting presentations or reports for the board
- Respond to general inquiries and requests for information
- Execute general office duties (printing, scanning, photocopying, filing)
- Assist with facilitating day-to-day business operations
- Comply with all TC policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Manage sensitive information in an appropriate and confidential manner
- Perform other duties as requested.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree.
- Some experience in communications or results reporting is an asset
- Interest in international development.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
- Highly organized with an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- TC is a dynamic and fast paced environment. Events may be delivered outside of normal work hours. Flexibility is required
- Positive can-do attitude.
