Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, the Clinical Data Analyst will support the business intelligence needs of the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) department. The Clinical Data Analyst will support the provision and interpretation of data to support departmental decision-making. The Clinical Data Analyst will support the DI Project Management & Quality Consultants in the execution of DI Roadmap.

Accountabilities:

- Use of various tools (SQL, Crystal Reports, Power BI, Excel, Access) to extract, generate and analyze reports from various databases for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders
- Report data to leadership groups for strategic decision making
- Assist in ensuring that procedure mapping is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate any system or process changes required to support operational needs and support staff training
- Manage Wait Time Information System (WTIS) process, including root cause analysis and timely resolution of errors
- Manage OHIP rejection process, including root cause analysis and timely resolution of errors
- Provide support to Project Management & Quality Consultant and peer Clinical Data Analyst, as required

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, computer science or a related healthcare field
- One to three years experience in health care data analysis
- Experience and knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging is strongly preferred
- Ability to manipulate and analyze data using various software tools
- Ability to perform root cause analysis with stakeholders
- Ability to present data recommendations based on findings to leadership teams
- Knowledge of hospital computerized/electronic systems (HIS, RIS, PACS)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates a high degree of initiative, self-direction and critical thinking
- Demonstrated ability to be detail and quality-oriented
- Ability to travel between all Osler sites
- Ability to present information and express complex ideas clearly and effectively to a non-technical audience
