**Position Summary**

As a Manager, Supply Chain, you will develop and monitor the supply chain strategy. Your goal is to improve stability, efficiency and manage costs, while securing material for our Manufacturing team. As Manager, you are responsible for managing a team of supply chain and procurement specialists responsible for procurement of materials for both production and New Product Introduction (NPI). For production, you are responsible for overseeing existing supplier and contract manufacturing performance, costing and lead time.

Responsibilities in this capacity include, but are not limited to, supplier management and agreements, supply chain planning and strategy, supplier negotiations, supplier quality, sourcing raw materials/components and Procurement/purchasing strategy. You are also responsible for S&OP activities as they pertain to minimizing shortages, cost saving initiatives, long lead items, and inventory control. Inventory control through S&OP includes accurately forecasting ending inventory levels, and providing the business with the information required to make smart cash-flow decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Build and lead an effective supply chain team**:

- Set team goals that align with overall company direction
- Coach team members to grow and achieve their own goals in the domain
- Build domain experts in Purchasing and Procurement
- Evaluate and report on KPIs

**Supplier Development and Relationship Management**
- Understand market and key players in each segment of materials for the business
- Work to improve relationships through the use of KPI’s and regular feedback with key suppliers
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- Manage supplier escalations related to on time delivery and cost management

**Engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) Support**
- Act as a key team member in early product design
- Understand lead times and availability of components and manufacturing time at Contract Manufacturers (CM’s)

**Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes**
- Understand components and what can be done to achieve overall cost/BOM savings across the supply chain
- Work with CM’s on their supply chain to find areas for improvement
- Negotiate and refute price increases when presented in order to avoid cost increases

**Cross Team Collaboration**
- Key member of the S&OP and forecast review
- Have a detailed understanding of sales requirements, revenue targets and manufacturing capabilities
- Must be comfortable communicating issues and opportunities to a wide audience
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth

**Skills/Qualifications**
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain and Operations management
- CSCP or CSCMP Designation
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management
- Experience in dealing with a global supply base
- Background and understanding of tech products
- Proven ability to manage time between conflicting priorities
