**Intellijoint Surgical **develops effective and easy to use products to enhance surgeons’ care and patients’ lives. Today, Intellijoint technology lives in the operating room helping surgeons improve implant positioning during hip and knee replacement surgeries. Our technology has been used in over 45,000 surgeries - helping us to gain real-world feedback from patients and surgeons to improve our products. We are seeking a **Supply Chain Manager** to join our Operations team to help bring innovative technologies to the market. We are a growing organization that is expanding its Operations team.

**The Position**

Reporting to the Director, Operations, the **Supply Chain Manager** has the skills and passion suited to a dynamic scaling environment. Working as part of the Operations team, the **Supply Chain Manager **will support the growth of the business by ensuring appropriate processes and materials are in place to successfully deliver to customers on time, with quality, while managing inventory.

**Main Duties**
- Working as part of the Operations Team, our Supply Chain Manager will lead the entire supply chain function for Intellijoint Surgical; this includes oversight of purchasing and planning, overall supplier management and forecast management.
- Leading a small team, the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for individual goal setting, performance management and is expected to lead by personal example of being organized, priority driven and planning ahead.
- The Supply Chain Manager will be a key player in identifying gaps in the multi-level supply chain and will be able to quickly formulate strategies to mitigate short term and long-term risk to ensure operations continuity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, R&D, QARA and Production teams to support the sourcing, procurement, and release of new products.
- Collaborate with Quality, R&D, and suppliers to resolve quality issues related to IJS products (including managing NCR communication with suppliers).
- Maintain all required supplier documentation (Supplier Status Form, Certification etc.), perform yearly reviews on all major and critical suppliers.
- Manage supplier qualifications/onboarding and part equivalence process, involve engineering and quality team where required and maintain frequent touchpoints to identify and mitigate any supply risks.
- Part of the Operations team as a point of contact for ECO implementation - ensuring costs and impacts are clearly evaluated and considered.
- Support and initiate Lean Practices in 5S & 8 Wastes within Ops, and supports broader organizational needs as required.
- Monitor and report current inventory levels of WIP & Finished Goods - establish reorder trigger levels for each part by in collaboration with Production.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of other departments processes & ensure Supply Chain dependencies are considered.
- Maintain all materials related records required to support ISO13485 Quality Management System.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain department.
- Support Accounting with the reconciliation of daily receipts and invoicing discrepancies to support the timely payment of supplier invoices.
- Actively plan and execute cost reduction opportunities.

**Skills and Experience to Enable Success**
- College Diploma and/or University Degree with specific focus on Supply Chain, Purchasing, Operations and/or Logistics
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a regulated industry (5+ years in a similar role is preferred); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Supply Chain and Purchasing expertise and experience with supplier onboarding is required
- Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to deal with a global supply base
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or related certification is preferred
- Experience working in a medical device environment (ISO 13485, FDA QSR, EU MDD/MDR, etc.) is an asset
- Experience implementing process improvements in a regulated, quality system (e.g. ISO) environment is preferred
