**True North Psychological Services **is hiring a **Physician's Assistant** for one of our Halifax-based clinicians. This position would start on a part-time basis and grow to full-time hours, based on the needs of the clinician.

True North Psychological Services provides high quality mental health services to the members of our community. True North Psychological Services currently offers services in Psychiatry, Psychology and Social Work.

Through decades of combined experience our team of psychologists and therapists believe in providing mental health services that treat and address underlying issues over the long term, rather than offering a quick and temporary fix. - Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and effectively use various computer billing and reporting systems
- Ability to maintain confidential records and information
- Knowledge and experience of modern office practices that optimize technology and time management
- Completion of a post-secondary medical administration program would be an asset
- Previous mental health clinic experience would be preferred
- Experience and/or knowledge of Military and Veterans Affairs would be considered an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Dicta-typing, word processing, and database entry
- Preparing, typing, transcribing reports, project documents, correspondence, etc.
- Photocopying and distributing materials accordingly
- Prep progress notes for patient visits
- Facilitate patient appointments and take notes during the appointment
- Reschedule patient appointments and correspond with patients, case workers, etc.
- Monitor the clinician's schedule
- Complete patient paperwork
- Other tasks required, as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 37.5 per week
