This position provides clerical support to the Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) at Windsor Regional Hospital. The OBSP oversees and implements three unique programs - Screening for average risk women, Screening for High Risk women and OBSP affiliated Breast Assessment Programs.

The OBSP clerk ensures the smooth operations of screening clinics; key responsibilities include screening for eligibility, scheduling screening tests (MRI & mammography), preparing clients with relevant diagnostic information, ensuring release of information is obtained, data entry, sending of screening results to physicians and clients and implementing the screening recall process. The Diagnostic Imaging Clerk complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Standards for the hospital and is proactive in promoting a safe work environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Utilizes excellent customer service skills when answering and directing telephone calls and enquiries
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, problem solve and function effectively in a busy environment
Sensitivity to multicultural clientele and issues
General good health and a level of fitness appropriate for the demands of the position

**EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE**:
Minimum of a grade 12 education or equivalent - required
Medical Terminology (will be tested) - required;
Alphanumeric Data Entry Speed 125 characters per minute and 90% accuracy - required (accuracy and speed will be tested)
