**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and test electronic systems and components for new research projects and product development initiatives, ensuring innovative solutions meet project goals and requirements. This includes the integration of software and firmware to enhance system capabilities.
- Conduct experiments and simulations to validate the performance of electronic systems and their software components, analyze data, and refine designs based on findings.
- Collaborate closely with R&D engineers, software developers, and scientists to integrate electronic systems and software into multidisciplinary projects, contributing technical expertise to achieve breakthrough innovations.
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring all electronic components, systems, and their associated software are calibrated and functioning optimally.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the assembly, testing, evaluation, and software programming of electronic systems within the R&D environment.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in electronics and software engineering, incorporating cutting-edge practices and tools into R&D processes to maintain the company’s competitive edge in innovation.
- Document and report research findings, technical specifications, development processes, and software codebases, ensuring clear communication and record-keeping for future reference and knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Work closely with project managers to estimate timelines, budget requirements, and resource needs for electronic system and software development tasks, contributing to the efficient and successful completion of R&D projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar experience..
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and development, with a strong emphasis on software and firmware development in an R&D setting.
- Knowledgeable in programming languages relevant to firmware and software development for electronic systems, such as C/C++, Python, or Embedded Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex electronic and software issues.
- Knowledge of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering equipment) and software development tools (IDEs, version control systems).
- Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing technical expertise to innovative projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to adhering to quality.
- Familiarity with industry standards for electronic systems and software development, including knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documentation, diagrams, and schematics for both hardware and software components.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
