The Compliance Coordinator is a hands-on role that works cross-functionally with the Production and Corporate Compliance departments. This position provides administrative support as well as ensures Food Safety practices, traceability practices, training and audits are implemented and followed consistently throughout the Leamington Ontario Distribution Center, as well as ensuring that all employee safety issues are handled promptly and fairly.

**Job Specific Duties**
- Leads the culture development of the Food Safety Fundamentals, the Food Safety Plan, the Quality System, the Organic Production/Handling Plan for the Distribution Center in Leamington, Ontario.
- Comprehensive accurate transaction and record keeping.
- Oversees and evaluates the training of all employees concerning food safety, organic production/handling and social responsibility.
- Performing monthly microbiological testing of food contact and environmental surfaces.
- Monitor and familiarity with necessary reports in SharePoint including but not limited to Food & Safety Master documents for Primus, Material Suppliers, Sales Packaging, and Material Registry.
- Ensure daily completion of daily, weekly pre-ops and post-ops for supervisors, monthly cleaning sheets for the janitors, and collect, review, document, and file accordingly.
- Monitor and familiarity with Customer Complaint Trend Analysis.
- Assist with Customer complaint investigation when necessary.
- Collecting and filing all completed pre-ops, and post-ops inspections. Following-up or gathering any missing information needed for review.
- Complete internal processing of ATP swabs after Production lines have been cleaned for Corporate Compliance Department to review.
- Create ATP trend analysis and limit adjustments as required.
- Ensure daily completion of daily sanitization, distribution and tracking of clippers and complete associated paperwork for Compliance Coordinator to review.
- Traceability and reconciliation point of contact for the Distribution Center, Leamington, Ontario.
- Conduct Mock recalls and mass reconciliation as required for certification purposes and customer requirements.
- Auditing as per monthly/quarterly schedules for food safety and job accuracy.
- Assists Corporate Food Safety team with Fair Trade certification audits, and other customer required social responsibility requirements.
- Assists Corporate Food Safety team with all Food Safety and Organic Certification audits.
- All directed governance monitoring as instructed.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in a combined supervisory, Production and/or administrative role.
- Skills required to analyse process flows looking for gaps and instrumental leading group continuous improvement teams.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with employees at all levels and across all departments in a professional, unbiased, and productive manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality regarding employee and company-related matters.
- Good working knowledge of computers and MS Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication abilities, active listening skills and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team environment, some independent work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by multitasking and prioritizing work while being attentive to details and quality with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks/follow up.
- Ability to embrace and adapt to the rapid growth, innovation, and development of the company.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday including occasional Saturdays and holidays as needed; an average 44 hours per week.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $46,268.83-$107,854.08 per year
