We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our team

**The Role**:

- Employee entry and data management in the payroll system
- Review and verification of Payroll data using knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations
- Process semi-monthly payroll
- Retrieve data from our payroll system, prepare, and submit various forms and reports
- Address Payroll inquiries from other team members and management
- Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, life insurance, health and dental insurance
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- You are able to handle confidential information with a high degree of care and professionalism
- You are analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- You are able to work under time pressures and tight deadlines
- You have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- You have exceptional calculation and memory skills
- You have outstanding time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
- You have a continuous learning/improvement mindset
- You are able to work in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating self-management capabilities
