**York Region Youth Wellness Hub** is part of the Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) provincial initiative. YWHO is an Integrated Youth Services (IYS) initiative designed to address the service gaps in the youth mental health and substance use sectors in Ontario.

YWHO supports local service providers to work together to provide young people in Ontario aged 12 to 25 with low barrier access to a full range of services including mental health and substance use supports, primary care, education, employment, housing and other social services all through youth-friendly access points. YWHO services are designed to improve experiences and outcomes for youth by:

- Increasing access to rapid, low-barrier services;
- Reducing transitions by providing care in one location; and,
- Providing tailored, high-quality programs co-developed with youth to meet their needs.

**About the Role**

The Manager will facilitate and support youth-led communications and marketing activities, represent and promote the Hub Network organization in the broader community, and be responsible for ongoing and specific projects as assigned.

**Responsibilities**
- Plan, develop, and implement the YWHO model, continuum of care and Core Components in a way that promotes barrier-free access and is engaging for diverse youth.
- Manage the daily operations, budget, staff and community relations, administration of contracts/agreements, liaise and partner with agency administration, office and IT department as needed.
- Ensure safe operations in a busy drop-in environment and promote best practices in mental health and substance use care, social and community services and skills and wellbeing activities for young people.
- Recruit, lead, supervise and performance manage a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensure that new staff members and partners receive orientation to the YWHO model, its operations policies and protocols.
- Manage partnership development; ensuring coordinated and collaborative system of care for youth through service implementation.
- Support service integration to ensure the continuum of care and care pathways are functioning seamlessly for youth and Hub partners by engaging young people in the development of service pathways and programs.
- Engage with service delivery partners in developing and maintaining a schedule for the Hub that offers a diverse range of supports promoting the overall wellness of youth.
- Support the collaborative development of the YWHO’s strategic goals and ensure the implementation of annual business plans and special projects.
- Oversee the adoption of the YWHO data collection platform, My Wellness Passport, the use of Measurement Based Care by employees and partner agency staff.
- Oversee the adoption of the YWHO Virtual Platform as the virtual services option within the York Region Youth Wellness Hub, work with YWHO Provincial Office to train staff on use of the platform, and support for implementation of the platform with youth outreach and service pathways.
- Support the York Region Youth Wellness Hub Youth and Family Advisory Committees, ensuring the voice, ideas, and preferences of youth, family and community members inform and direct the development and governance of the hub.
- Represent the York Region Youth Wellness Hub as part of the provincial YWHO Network, including attending YWHO network operational meetings, working collaboratively with the YWHO Provincial Office and the provincial Implementation and Evaluation team.
- Support and enable the access of staff and service delivery partners to YWHO Provincial Office training and capacity building activities.
- Ensure consistency among staff and service delivery partners in assigning client identifiers and overseeing data collection/data input processes, ensuring compliance and privacy within a PHIPA framework.
- Work with the YWHO Provincial Office to facilitate local evaluation data collection and selection of measures/indicators, as required.

**Qualifications**
- Eligibility for registration, or current membership in good standing, in a professional college in Ontario (i.e., Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Nurses in Ontario, etc.)
- Experience in a management or formal supervisory role.
- Previous experience in mental health, substance use, etc. with a preference for youth-focused non-prof
