**Description**
- Install locks and locking hardware in a variety of different materials using all different tools
- Understanding of card access and the way low voltage wiring and strike installations are to be installed
- Installing of automatic door operators and barrier free washroom kits
- Basic knowledge of safes and combination changing
- The ability to install and hang steel doors and frames
- Maintain inventory on company service vehicle to effectively perform service calls
- Monitor vehicle for potential service issues and promptly report any concerns to management
- Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments
- Rotate the afterhours phone between other employees and respond to emergency calls
- Remain in contact with the Service Manager throughout the day

**Qualifications, Experience Skills**
- 2 + years of experience with lock smith / door technician
- Electrical / mechanical repair skills are considered an asset
- AAADM Certification an asset
- Welding experience is an asset
- Must have a valid G Class driver's license
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
