Thomas Alton Medical Clinic is seeking a part-time experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team of family physicians. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, multi-tasker, excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong and reliable team player.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and registering patients upon arrival and completing any necessary documentation
- Supporting multiple doctors with pulling charts, requesting referrals and booking follow ups
- Triaging patient for Well Baby Visits, Physicals and Driver's Physicals (weight, height, urinalysis, etc.)
- Booking and scheduling appointments and meetings for patients and doctors
- Filing, scanning and inputting electronic medical records into the database
- Invoicing, processing third party payments and Roster Management
- Maintain a clean and tidy work space including exam rooms
- Flexible, able to work on weekends

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Medical Office Assistant diploma or degree from a recognized Canadian Institution
- Minimum 2 years experience as a medical office assistant/receptionist
- **Must** have Oscar EMR Experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical terminology working knowledge
- First Aid, IM Injection/Vaccination, or phlebotomy certification, experience in triaging patients is an asset
- Experience with OHIP billing, Third Party Insurance Billing

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Secondary School (preferred)
