**Purpose of the job**

To supervise all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, sourcing & procurement, PO’s and contracts, spend

analysis, vendor identification selection, negotiation, relationship management & measurement. Provide support and coordination pertaining to

material distribution and continuously promote & support safe practices.

**Key responsibilities**

1. Communication & customer service, both inter-departmentally and externally.

2. Collaborative leadership and building relationships.

3. Tactical role focused on execution & holding others accountable.

4. Manage department & business results, and coach/develops team members.

5. Problem-solving, facilitating solutions, driving value & making decisions. Role model Safety and Continuous Improvement.

**Qualifications & Functional Knowledge**

**Education**
- Ideally some post-secondary

**Relevant experience required**
- 5 years

**Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role**
- Ideally Operational and/or Maintenance knowledge/experience
- Maximo & SAP exposure would be a great asset
- Continuous Improvement (CI) experience would be beneficial
