Jayne's Luxury Rentals, Muskoka's leading luxury cottage rental and concierge agency, is looking to hire property maintenance team members for this 2023 summer season Jayne's Luxury Rentals is seeking professional and organized seasonal staff to assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of our properties.
- Conduct minor maintenance at cottages including grounds keeping
- Perform off-season cottage checks
- Collection and disposal of garbage
- Driving staff to and from cottages
- Transport and install Water Trampolines, Lily Pads, Canoes, Kayaks, and SUPs
- Hot tub set up and chemical balancing
- Conduct deliveries and pick-ups as required
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policies
- Regular hours include weekends, statutory holidays, weekdays, evenings and possibly on-call
- Ability to work with last-minute requests and have flexible working hours
- Painting and Staining
- Pressure Washing of decks and outdoor furniture
- Vehicle maintenance
- General troubleshooting of appliances and all household equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills and Requirements You'll Need:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Valid G class driver’s license.
Criminal Records Check.
Clean divers abstract.
Must be willing and able to swim in the summer.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to learn and operate, in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment where priorities change regularly.
Good at problem solving and troubleshooting.
Ability to act independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to safely use custodial equipment, gardening equipment, and tools.
Great customer service skills.
