**SHIFT**:3 x 12 **- **Day Shift and Night Shift

5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

5:00 PM - 5:00 AM

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

**PAY RATE**:$28.36 - $31.91 per hour

We are looking for **Production Operators** to join our Operations Team Our Operators are responsible for operating machinery, while carrying out quality checks and adhering to the rules and regulations of a food and beverage manufacturing facility.

- You have experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
- You have experience working with and handling machinery while carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning
- You have experience following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for equipment and quality as well participation in the improvements of SOP’s
- Open to learning and improving own skills with a can-do attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and with a strong sense of ownership is a must
- Organizational skills and time management
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and effective decision-making skills

- Valid First Aid Level 1 or 2 (OFA Certificate
- Valid Forklift License
- Electrical / Mechanical aptitude

**things you will do**
- You will be performing production changeovers for products while controlling the computer panels with packaging indicators
- You will be responsible for tracking packaging materials for usage/loss rates, maintain packaging machine logs and will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives
- As with all team members you will play a critical role in quality control carrying out quality control checks during machine operation, ensuing that product passes the specified quality specifications
- Collaborate with team members and work with Supervisors, Management and the Maintenance Team to report and resolve production issues
- Ensure all legislated and company issued Policies & Procedures are followed. Where governing bodies include and are not limited to WorkSafe BC, CFIA, COR, Non-GMO, WHMIS, etc.
- Actively take part in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs / initiatives
- Acts in a manner consistent with health and safety policy, which includes wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while in production facility and reporting all First Aids, Hazard Observations or Near Misses immediately
- Trained on multiple pieces of equipment as required by the business

**OTHER **
- Provide on the job training to other employees on an ad-hoc basis
- Willingness to work overtime & weekends

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $28.35 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
