Presently there are 19 anesthesiologists and two pediatric anesthesia fellows within the Department. A dedicated team of anesthesia assistants affiliated with our department provide on call coverage.
The Department is an integral part of the University of Ottawa’s Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certified residency program in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and runs a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program.
