**What YOU Will Do**

Pomerleau is currently sourcing a VDC Coordinator to join our Ottawa Office, reporting directly to the Team Lead, VDC - This position will be responsible for working within a fast-paced multi-disciplinary setting, playing a key role in providing technical leadership to the construction operations teams.
- Jump in right from project start-up and identify BIM uses which have the potential to be beneficial for the project.
- Producing 2D drawing deliverable from 3D Models (sleeving drawings, lift drawings, sketches and isometrics and more)
- Updating 3D Models as per change management
- Traveling to various sites in order to successfully support technology deliverables.
- Champion of running VDC/BIM Coordination meetings during design & construction phases
- Assist Construction Operations teams by creating site logistics plans at different stages of project lifecycle. [SL1] [SL2]
- Implementing BIM Execution Plans at various project lifecycles
- Facilitate the implementation of BIM/VDC processes collaboratively with the project and BIM teams.
- Providing technical support & troubleshooting for various VDC tools for internal & external stakeholders, such as but not limited to: Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360
- Constantly learn to keep your own expertise at the leading edge through continuing professional development.
- Assisting in Post-Construction processes such as As-builts & Redlines.
- Maintaining records of meeting minutes and various other administrative tasks as it related to the role.
- Collaborate with designers and trades in creating BIM content, organizing it in a shared workspace platform and performing multidisciplinary coordination.
- Take pride in creating 4D simulations, giving the end users the possibility to experience their project in Virtual and Augmented Reality.

**What YOU Will Bring**
- 1-3 years BIM experience in the AEC industry.
- A Technology Diploma/University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architecture or MEP Technology
- Industry Professional experience with Revit
- Ability to learn new software’s.
- A proven track record of BIM project coordination and team collaboration;
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Ottawa market and ability to work throughout the National Capital Region (NCR).
