**Job Overview**:
As the Project Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Education, the successful applicant will lead initiatives aimed at advancing high-performance building products within Canada's social housing sector. Responsibilities include collaborating with social housing providers and manufacturers to develop product performance specifications, integrate design strategies, and facilitate capacity building initiatives, including financial tracking and budgeting for training of building officials across the country as well as large building air tightness training.

Success will be measured by meeting budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements, while closely engaging with project stakeholders such as owners, consultants, subtrades, and senior management. The Project Manager must be adept at multitasking across various projects and tasks, working independently, building strong relationships, and adapting to shifting priorities and project requirements. Expertise should encompass a proven track record in building systems, thermodynamics, and advanced building energy analysis across diverse building types in Canada. **Preference given to applicants in the Greater Toronto area as some in-person meetings will be required.**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- PEng., PMP, Passive House CPHD/C, LEED, or other technical certifications an asset.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in project management within the construction/building science industry, with a focus on high-performance building products and sustainable design practices.
- Experience with sustainable building rating tools such as LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon Building, regional sustainable design requirements, etc.
- Understanding of local and regional energy codes, including but not limited to NECB, ASHRAE 90.1, BC Step Code, and VBBL.
- Knowledge of Canadian and provincial building codes, regulations, and standards related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Familiarity with the PHI component criteria, particularly the energy modeling associated with component certification.
- Knowledge and interest in building performance, thermal bridging, embodied carbon and climate resiliency and adaptation
- Experience preparing energy modelling documentation and submittals.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, windows, and ventilation components, as well as experience in product specification development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets and current construction practices and methodology.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
