We are a leading orthodontics and pediatric dentistry office in Richmond, BC. We focus on building lasting relationships that create positive dental experiences for our patients and their families.

We are looking for an inviting and energetic individual to join our team as a **2.5 days/week Certified Dental Assistant (Mondays 8:30-5 and Tuesdays 8:30-5 with every other Saturdays 8-2) with potentials to increase hours in the future**. **Responsibilities**
- Welcoming patients and parents in a comforting manner to prepare the family for upcoming exam, orthodontic, cleaning or treatment visits.
- Clinical chair-side assisting with knowledge of orthodontic instrumentation and procedures.
- Educate patients and family in orthodontic treatments, oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Review dental treatment plan and consent forms with parents.
- Perform prophylaxis for hygiene patients.
- Assist the dentist during variety of orthodontics and pediatric dental treatments including sedation and general anesthesia.
- Take photos and x-rays on patients, process and mount them correctly.
- Clean, sterilize and set up hygiene and treatment trays.
- Confidently discussing treatment recommendations with patients and parents.
- Maintain confidentiality and write thorough notes in Opendental.

**Requirement**
- Current CDA license and registration with CDSBC
