Dental Assistant

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker dental software.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the office.
- Support pediatric patients with a gentle approach, especially during their visits.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a _**Certified Dental Assistant**_ is mandatory.
- Familiarity with dental software system Tracker.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining patient records and managing appointments.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
**NOTE** - Only **CERTIFIED** Dental Assistants will be considered for the position. Chairside assistants will not be accepted.

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
