**What you’ll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible to have a thorough knowledge of all standard Panelboard, Control Product and some custom product assemblies and all related materials required to complete the assembly.
- This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller to medium assemble-to-order facilities and complement our large manufacturing facilities within Canada. Local site product lines may include; standard panelboards, switchboard, control and custom control product assemblies as required
- **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Work to standard operating procedures, bill of materials, manufacturing information, and instruction from Management or Engineering to established procedures
- Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting Inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation and appearance and making mechanical adjustments as needed
- Perform pack and ship duties
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S
- Assist team in achieving plant and department goals
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement
- Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or GED from an accredited institution is required
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
