**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Feed and provide water to animals
- Clean and sanitise all areas of the kennel, cages and yards
- Monitor health and well being of animals
- Reporting and documenting incidents, contacting owners if necessary
- Walk dogs and provide exercise as needed
- Assist with bathing and light grooming of animals
- Administer and document medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Interact with pet owners and provide outstanding customer service

**Job Requirements**
- Previous dog handling experience is preferred
- Ability to lift, bend and be on your feet. It’s a very physical job.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment with a variety of animal breeds
- Must be reliable and flexible as this job is based on business needs
- Honest, hardworking and capable of working alone or in a group.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 40 per week
