Kennel Assistant

Overview:
Join our team as a Kennel Assistant and play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry friends. As a Kennel Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of the animals under our care. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the daily care and maintenance of kennels and animal living spaces
- Provide food, water, and clean bedding to animals
- Monitor and record animal behavior and health status
- Engage in playtime and exercise routines with animals
- Administer medications under supervision
- Assist with bathing and grooming as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel area
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the welfare of animals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with animals preferred
- Ability to perform
tasks as needed
- Strong
skills for interacting with pet owners
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
