General Liquids Canada is seeking a quality control tester for its RLQ laboratory in support of our Rocky Lake Quarry in Bedford, NS. This is a full-time seasonal position.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
Perform laboratory testing on production aggregates as required.
Maintain logs, records and perform calculation in a neat and accurate manner.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for the upkeep of lab equipment.
Maintain data and records pertaining to tests and calibration of lab equipment.
Demonstrated ability to perform work in a timely and efficient manner.
Participate in the integrated management system that meets AASHTO and ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
Be able to handle hazardous material in a safe manner according to company policies.
Maintain a clean, nice, and safe work environment.
Ability to adapt to a high pace environment is necessary.
Perform other related duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
Demonstrated ability to perform work in a timely and efficient manner.
Proficient with Excel and MS Word.
Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 or similar accreditation program.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
Aptitude for learning and be trained.
Willingness to work extended hours.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
A valid Class 5 driver’s license. (required)
Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
