As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue through proactive sales activities, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Sales Manager duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve hotel revenue goals, including room sales, food and beverage sales, and meeting/event space bookings.
- Oversee primary markets: Corporate Group, Corporate Business Travel, Provincial Government.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to expand the hotel's client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key partners to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing strategies, and market demand.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and digital marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments such as operations, reservations, and catering to ensure seamless execution of events and guest satisfaction.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the hotel and promote our services.
- Train and mentor sales team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to enhance their performance and professional development.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales manager role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in hotel sales.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, revenue management principles, and hotel industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Sales software.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Must be available outside of regular scheduled hours as required.
- A passion for hospitality, customer service excellence, and driving results.

**Salary**: $66,250.00 per hour
